English by birth, French at heart — I help creative, intuitive women find their voice, in language and in life.
I’m Nicky Howard, language coach, certified energy healing practitioner, and creative mentor for women who are seeking meaning, expression, and deeper alignment with who they really are.
My Dream
When I was 12, on holiday in the South of France, I walked into a small ceramic art gallery in a hilltop village called Gassin. I turned to my parents and said, “This is what I want to do. I want to make art and live in France.”
However I held onto beleifs of“art not being a real career.” and "i'm not good enough" which took me on a different path, styudying medical science, ended up working in medical laboratories, which I hated whilst telling myself that creativity just wasn’t for me.
But that little girl’s dream never truly left me...
My Journey
In 2001, my dream of living in France came true. I moved to Nantes with the father (French) of my two daughters who were just 3 years and 6 weeks old. But this move wasn’t just a lifestyle change. It was the first step toward living in alignment with my purpose. I vowed never to teach English whilst living in France!
After my divorce in 2009 I was guided towards energy healing. I became attuned to Reiki, which opened the door to deep inner healing. In 2016, I certified as an Emotion Code Practitioner, diving deeper into emotional release and energy clearing.
I found a career as a language coach and trainer for French adults, simply because I needced work, and doing it I found my purpsoe, it felt totally aligned and through it I saw my clients aligning to their truth through my style of working with them. You see, I wasn't teaching English, I was training and coaching!
Around this same time, my creativity reawakened. I began exploring emotional healing through intuitive art and expression, and I discovered the power of essential oils in emotional support and transformation.
Living life on purpose
In 2020, I was unexpectedly guided to leave France and return to the UK. I realised that I had to let go and totally trust the Divine guidance, and I soon understood that I needed to make peace with my English roots, the part of myself I had always rejected. Not long after, I met my now (English) husband. That brought me back to France once again, but this time, to the Charente, the most expat area of France, something I vowed I would never do! But it's here that i truly stepped fully into my purpose, birthing Intuartiv™ Expression, followed by Emotiv™ Boards,
The Dream - how it fitted together
I now create and sell my work in Confolens, I am living the dream of making art and living in France
The language part of my soul is alive and thriving. It took me a while, but I realised that through learning a language we are able to stand back and look at ourselves from a distance, and release blocks that are hidden in our life. Working with Lavender Path languages literally helps you to speak your truth. I have the gift of speaking fluent French and being immersed in French culture since trhe age of 21. I have a foot in both cultures.
And now here I am pulling it all together, using my language coaching, art, IntuartivExpression and energy healing to help you step into your truth and find your voice through languages
